The February 2026 release of Redikhet is a major upgrade with many visible and invisible changes.
First of all, the baseline chart has been removed and replaced by the new snapshot functionality.
The pie chart showing the top 10 expenses has been replaced by a diagram with more and clearer information.
The highlight of this release, however, is the new option to save the results of a simulation run in a so-called snapshot.
Snapshots are a powerful tool for easily comparing different scenarios.
For example, define a baseline with starting points at the beginning of the year and then monitor the extent to which reality deviates from that baseline over a longer period.
Or calculate different scenarios and compare them by switching between snapshots or setting the baseline pin.
With the addition of snapshots, a significant amount of internal code was affected and redesigned, which ultimately improved the internal design and robustness. But every change also carries a risk of errors, so help improve Redikhet and send any findings to feedback@redikhet.nl
